Succulents

In my spare time, I like tending to my succulent collection. Most of my plants belong to the Haworthia genus, which is endemic to Southern Africa. When I first encountered them at my local nursery, I was immediately drawn to their unique shape and appearance. Check out my custom rack lined with grow lights that feed my spectacular plants:

Tending to my succulents is a therapeutic experience for me, and has even taught me life lessons. As much as I'd like them to, my plants don't grow overnight after watering—it takes consistency and time. This is a principle that I try to apply toward any goal in life.

Piano

When I'm not taking care of my succulents, I enjoy playing the piano. Classical music has been my forte since age five; this makes it my longest ongoing passion. Beyond teaching me perseverance and discipline, piano is a gift that I get to share with my friends and family. If you like classical music or want to break into it, here are my current favorites:
-- Scherzo No. 2 in Bâ™ Minor, Op. 31 (Chopin)
-- Ballade No. 1 in G minor, Op. 23 (Chopin)
-- Un Sospiro (Liszt).
